IMPORTANT INFORMATION
SHAPES reserves the right to refuse service and void the warranty if the sleep set is found to be in an unsanitary condition (such as stains from blood or bodily fluids, soiling, infestation, or other forms of abuse), or if there is evidence of damage from liquid penetration or the use of cleaning fluids, or when product failure results from factors other than defective materials or workmanship.
Maintaining your sleep set in a sanitary condition is essential to prevent product damage and to uphold the warranty. For the safety of those handling the product, SHAPES may refuse to inspect or assess the product if it is in an unsanitary state, thereby reserving the right to deny warranty coverage.
Using cleaning fluids on your mattress can damage the fabric and materials. Allowing water or other liquids to penetrate the mattress can damage the upholstery layers, leading to material compression. Either situation may result in damage that will invalidate your warranty.
SHAPES reserves the right to deny warranty coverage if the sleep set exhibits stains or soiling of unknown origin or nature, and if it appears, in good faith, that the sleep set is unsanitary or has been damaged by liquid penetration or other forms of abuse.
GUIDELINES FOR MATTRESS CARE
RECOMMENDED PRACTICES:
- ENSURE to rotate your mattress regularly to maintain even wear.
- USE a proper frame with center support for Queen and King-size mattresses to uphold your warranty.
- ALLOW your new sleep set to breathe after removing it from its plastic wrapping. Dispose of the plastic immediately to prevent any suffocation risks for children or pets.
- KEEP your mattress clean and safeguard it with a mattress protector. Stains, soiling, fluid exposure, or other signs of misuse may void the warranty and disqualify the mattress from repair or replacement.
- CONSIDER replacing the foundation when purchasing a new mattress to ensure adequate support.
- HANDLE your mattress by carrying it upright on its side. This makes it easier to manage and reduces the chance of damage. If storing your mattress long-term, lay it flat.
- DISPOSE of old mattresses promptly to prevent potential fire hazards.
AVOID THESE ACTIONS:
- DO NOT remove the law tag at the end of your mattress, as it includes essential information needed to verify your warranty rights.
- REFRAIN from bending or jumping on your mattress excessively, as this can cause damage to the mattress or box spring. Normal use on an adjustable base is allowed with an approved adjustable mattress.
- AVOID using cleaning fluids on your mattress, as the chemicals may harm the materials.
- PREVENT your mattress from getting wet. Liquids can damage the upholstery and cause the materials to compress. SHAPES recommends using a waterproof mattress pad for protection.
- DO NOT lift your mattress by the handles (if included), as they are designed solely for positioning, not for carrying.
BED FRAME REQUIREMENTS
- Queen and King-size models require center support that extends to the floor.
- A solid platform may be used, but it must provide center support that extends to the floor.
